VMV Hypoallergenics Essence Skin-Saving Antiperspirant
When I first saw this brand in Trinoma, I was a bit intimidated and I instantly conclude that a. the products are expensive b. the products are imported and c. their staff are not approachable. I just tried this brand because my friend Che told me that she uses their facial set for quite some time now and the results are promising.
So when I passed by their branch in Trinoma, I decided to try this anti perspirant. It was priced at 450 pesos and luckily that day it was on sale for 15% so I got it for only 382.50. Yes it's quite expensive for an anti perspirant product but believe me I've tried them all. From imported ones to local ones, from expensive to cheap deodorants. I got a little chat with the staff and she said that this product promises to prevent or manage perspiration, odor and irritation due to plucking or shaving in short chicken skin and it can also lighten the underarm area. I don't have much hopes for it because my previous one gave me body odor and super wet underarms, in short YUCK!
After trying it for the first time I was a bit paranoid that my underarm will smell and sweat like hell. But no, it didn't, like the whole day I was touching and smelling my underarms there was ZERO smell and sweat! AMAZEBALLS! I know that I found the one true anti-perspirant of all time!
Pros:
- All day underarm dryness
- Odor prevention
- Prevent chicken skin
- Prevents redness and irritation
- Prevents darkening
Cobs:
- A bit pricey, but a bottle will go a long way
- The nozzles of the spray my clogged so better removed them first and let it sink with warm water
- It will burn like hell when you use this after plucking or shaving
Please bear in mind that after shaving or plucking it will burn like crazy, you just have to let it dry and the stinging/burning sensation will pass. Believe me I got so scared the first time I experienced that, it was written on the box but I didn't bother reading them - so my fault. I don't totally get zero dryness especially when the sun is blazing outside but if I did, it was orderless. When I was just inside the house or office and the temperature is just right, it was totally dry and order free. But yes the stinging sensation sucks after shaving/plucking but I can let that pass. Overall, I would hoard them if I won the lottery, because this product is the best anti-perspirant out there! Also the brand VMV Hypoallergenics is a LOCAL brand, I was impressed and made me to love this brand more.
