It's been a while since I first visited the Manila Ocean Park with my family. Back then, the people are so hyped to go there well because it's new and who wouldn't want to be inside a big aquarium? Well my boyfriend absolutely love fishes so yeah it's a part of his birthday celebration aside from the H2O Hotel.

We didn't feel like the deals from the ticket booth from Manila Ocean Park are worth it so I decided to look up deals in Metrodeal. Luckily there are a ton of deals for Ocean Park and we opted for the 899 pesos which includes the following:

  • Oceanarium
  • Trails to Antarctica (Penguin Exhibit & Snow Village)
  • Jellies Exhibit
  • Birds of Prey Kingdom
  • Fish Spa
  • Sharks & Rays Dry Encounter
  • Amazing Stories of Yexel's Museum
  • Liquid Buffet

We headed first for the Oceanarium, it's what I remember since then but I am still amazed with all f the fishes inside. I remember also that flash photography wasn't allowed inside and it still is. I am really amazed with the dome size aquarium and the sting rays are as huge as ever. I felt like my boyfriend was in cloud nine because these gigantic aquariums and fishes.

The next stop is the Sharks & Rays Dry Encounter, which is located outside. There are huge sting rays there and one of them, we are allowed to touch. I touch it will all the fear in me, the skin was rough and slimy. But of course my boyfriend enjoyed it so much, just like a kid with a new toy.

Buffet lunch is included in our ticket and it is located near the Sharks and Rays Dry Encounter. We decided to ate lunch because it was I think past 1 P.M then. There was a pool there which by the way H2O Hotel guests are allowed to swim. The food choices are few but I am amazed that they are tasty - didn't expect them though. Also I super love the dessert - Buko Pandan. It has Nata de Coco and it's so creamy! For 200 pesos per person, I think the buffet is worth it.

After eating, we then continue to the Birds of Prey Kingdom. It was so hot outside but the encounter with them is rewarding. I was so afraid to take my picture with them because they might claw me when I get too close.

Then we headed to Trails to Antarctica where the Penguins and the Snow Village is located. I was so ecstatic when I saw those Penguins! They are so cute! But to have a close encounter with them we need to pay 500 pesos. We thought about it, and headed to Snow Village where the temperature is negative something, and it was freezing! We couldn't stand it so we opted out. We then decided to have a close encounter with the Penguins. The 500 peso includes an 8R picture plus I think an unlimited time with the Penguins. We are assisted by the care taker/photographer and capture lots of pictures. I am telling you that the fee is worth it! I love those Penguins but we are not allowed to touch them because then they will be stressed and might peck you. The caretaker/photographer said that initially they are just four pairs and now they are nine I think. They have their babies there so yeah it was amazing! I noticed that they super loved fishes, because they are fighting for the fishes whenever you throw the fishes away.

Next is the Jelly Exhibit. I know they are just jelly fish but they are fascinating plus the neon lights made them even more amazing. I wonder how they got all of them inside, I am still afraid of the Jelly Fish sting you know.

We opted out for the Fish Spa because we are both wearing rubber shoes. And our last stop, The Amazing Stories of Yexel 's Museum. I will blog about them separately because we also have tons of pictures there.

Manila Ocean Park has improved over the years. This is the reason why schools are not tired for having their field trips here. It's a great way to bond over with your family too. For more information on Manila Ocean Park, you can visit their website.
