As I've mentioned earlier on my blog about the M.A.C Lip Conditioner, I always have dry lips. Especially in the morning. I always put petroleum jelly before I go to sleep but it's no use. I still have dry lips no matter how I exfoliate it with my homemade lip scrub. And then the game changer came, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.

I knew I have to buy immediately after reading the reviews and raves about this product. Unfortunately and for some reason there's no Laneige boutique in Makati so I have to go to SM Aura from Makati just to buy the product immediately! When I got into SM Aura I went straight to their store and when I inquire about the Lip Sleeping Mask, only one stock left! I immediately paid for it no need to think twice before purchasing it. It costs me 950 pesos if I remember it correctly. It costs a lot for a lip balm but take note that this is not just a plain lip balm.

This product promises to  provide smooth, firm lips by gently melting away dead skin on the lips over night. And after I got this product, when it's time for bed, I applied it using the oh so cute applicator - the smell is a little bit fruity but very faint and I love it. When I woke up I am expecting a very dry lips but no, I am so wrong - I have a very healthy looking lips unlike when I use ordinary lip balms or just petroleum jelly's. And yes I have not encountered dry lips the whole day! I don't need to apply any lip balm the whole day!

Pros:
  • My lips are not dry anymore and not just in the morning, but the whole day!
  • Faint fruity smell that is pleasant to my nose
  • It will go a long way because you only need a very little portion on your lips every night ( Net Weight 20g / 0.707 e)
  • Comes in a really cute jar and with a small applicator with sleeves -  so your product is sanitized just to be sure to clean the applicator after you use it.

Cons:
  • It's really pricey for a lip mask - 950 pesos
  • really bulky in my Make Up bag - so I need to transfer it to a smaller container so I can carry it around.
  • The applicator can be a bit of a hassle, I hope when they improve this product the applicator can be attached in the jar.

Overall I super love this product and I want to thank the heavens for bringing this product here on Earth, LOL. Because of this product I have super smooth, healthy looking lips all day!

I would definitely buy this product again!

    Worth the price! Mukhang maganda naman sya and the packaging is huge for a lip product.

      Yes super worth Dani! And konti lang ang need mo every night. Mukang matagal naman gagamitin so go na din :p
