Maybelline White Super Fresh
I remember that my first make ups are from Maybelline. I was in college and that is all I could afford and I will only use them for special occasions. Also they have quality products and at par with other brands so I decided to be reunited with the first make up brand I love.

I wanted to try the Maybelline White Super Fresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder. It has SPF 34 PA++ and it promises to stay for 12 hours. Of course I've read reviews before purchasing, and when I am convinced that this product is worth it, that's the time I will buy it. So I went to the Maybelline counter (Watsons, Greenbelt 1) and I ask the staff to swatch it on my neck, she wasn't that accommodating and I feel that she's in a rush or something. Nonetheless I am decided to buy it plus two lipsticks because they have a freebie when you reached 699 pesos (including the White Super Fresh). So I ended buying the White Super Fresh and the Color Sensational Lip Polish, which I will review soon. Plus I get a super cool mirror!

When I tried to apply it on my bare face, I hate it. My face is so white! I don't know if it's just the wrong shade or the lighting but I feel like a ghost. Also it doesn't glide smoothly on my face unlike the Happy Skin Don't Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Powder Foundation. I know they have 5 shades, and what I got is the 4th shade in this collection. Maybe I should have gotten the last shade.

Pros:
- It's really cheap at 299 pesos and when I bought it it's on sale, less 50 pesos - so I only paid 249 pesos for this product.
- The packaging is white and lightweight describing the name of this product
- Large mirror
Cons:
- Highlights my dry skin, specially pimple scars
- It's super white on my face, I think I got the wrong shade - thanks to the not so accommodating staff that swatch my neck.

I didn't get the chance to try it for 12 hours because I don't like to be walking around with my face that is so white. I guess they should add more darker shades if they are going to bring it here in the Philippines. I know it's only 249 pesos, but still my money is wasted on a product that I wouldn't use again. *sigh*
